Our Dr.João Marques and Dr. Antonio Isóo de Azeredo were pleased to participate in the “Macau-Portugal Investment and Tourism Promotion Conference” that was held in Lisbon, Portugal on 19 April 2023. The event was attended by officials from Portugal, which include the Secretary for Economy and Finance, the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and also a delegation led by the Chief Executive of Macau and representatives from the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin.
This visit marked Macau’s first in-person tourism promotion in Portugal since the outbreak of pandemic, with its primary objective to promote investment opportunities in Macau and the Hengqin Cooperation Zone. It was led by the Macau Delegation was significant in enhancing Macau’s bridging role between China and Portuguese-speaking countries and highlighting the strengths of Macao’s tourism industry to Lisbon’s tourism office, and We C&C is proud to assist Macau in further enhancing this role.
